sabbaticals this week wed & thurs. :) dancesports. im quite glad to have quite a number of friends in there like sharon jiayuan huiping munyee. :) dancesports is something like.. ballroom dancing. but it's called a sport. cause according to melvin tan, dancesports uses up as much energy in 1 minute as when an athlete ran dontknowhowmany metres. 800m maybe. haha sounds quite incredible but rather unbelievable. maybe it's cause we're not doing it right. haha. :)
okay so today was about cha-cha, rock&roll, waltz and salsa. the funnest one was cha-cha, quite surprisingly. was half-awake for the rest of the 3 dances so dont think they are really interesting. waltz was quite fun, just moving here and there :) i was looking forward quite a lot to salsa cause i always thought it's damn cool but i guess the way they teaches the moves are quite so boring that i lost interest after rock&roll which everyone agreed was the boring-nest! surprisingly too. haha.
okay so thats sabbaticals. ONE MORE DAY TOMORROW. it's the okay get-it-done-and-over-with feeling in me now. actually should be grateful la since hc has like damn a lot of modules for us to choose from and they are actually mostly about rather fun and non-academic activities like dance, hiphop, wakeboarding, wind surfing, kayaking, fencing, inline skating and cooking and alot alot of stuff. :) possibly almost everything you can think of, while nanyang was like. environmental science, proteomics, rahhhhh which were about science and stuff. the only fun one was scuba diving i think, luckily i went for that last year instead of environmental science. haha memories man. :)
okay la shall go sleep already. waking up early tmr though dancesports starts at 915. hc is weird, putting our two days of sabbaticals on wed & thurs and school yesterday on tues and two days later on fri. so the sabbaticals are like right smack in the center of the week. haha they give us june holidays, then blocks, then 3 day break then it felt like holidays again (especially after the exams since we are quite used to nov and dec holidays right after exams in nanyang), then school for ONE DAY. then sabbaticals which are kind of more slack, THEN SCHOOL FOR ANOTHER ONE DAY. then WEEKEND. wheeeeeee need quite a lot of change of emotions man. :)
